The Nanaimo Pickleball Club will be offering three individual sessions this May for our one day "Orientation to Pickleball", on a first come first serve basis... we have capped the registration at 12 people per session /day - once a session has filled we suggest you check for the next date the class will be offered. Dates are as follows: May 4th May 17th May 29th Each session will start at 2:00 pm and run until 4:30 pm weather permitting. Sessions will be held at Beaufort Park on Chelsea Cres Cancelled Sessions: If a session is cancelled due to weather or any other reason you will be informed via email and can reschedule to another session or a full refund will be issued. During this "Orientation to Pickleball" the player will learn the basis of the game, some rules, some technique - but overall a lot of fun and understanding of this social game. For most players it is the first time for them stepping onto a court and holding a paddle - instruction is slow and followed up at the end of the 2.5 hours with how you as a new player can learn more about this great game. The cost of the session will be $25.00. Payment must be made at least 1 day prior to the session by e-transfer to nanaimopickleball.com If payment is not received by that date you name will be removed from the session and you will need to reschedule to another session. Refund Policy: We will refund your session fee less a $10 adminstration fee if cancelled more than prior to the day of the session. There will be no refund if you cancel the day of the session or do not show up. Paddles and balls are provided. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing - suited for the weather and recreation, running shoes that provide good support and water. If you decide that this is a game you would like to pursue - the coaches will make a number of recommendations/suggestions on how you can move forward to pursue this wonderful game. If you are at a level that the coaches believe you are ready to join the club - $15 from your registration fee will be directed to your membership fee.
